1. Go to start button.
2. Search there by typing "event viewer".click on “event viewer".
3. click on "Windows logs".Here you see many options so double click on sytem.
4. New window opens which gives you information of many events like date and time,source, event id etc.
5. Now for system shut down or start information search for event id "6009".
you can use "ctrl+F" command to find it easily.
Now you can see the date and time corresponding to id 6009.
